Current Teaching

I teach in the BSc and MSc programmes in Econometrics and Operations Research, as well as the MSc Economic and Financial Research. My teaching entails both course coordination (including lecturing and tutoring) and thesis supervsion. I am also currently the programme leader / coordinator for the MSc Econometrics and Operations Research programme.

Currently I teach and coordinate the following courses:

• EBS4024 – Writing a Referee Report (MSc Economic and Financial Research)

The Bootstrap

For use in my courses I wrote introductory notes about the bootstrap. They are available here under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. I hope they prove to be useful for studying or teaching the bootstrap! I would be happy to hear your feedback about them (both things you like and don't like).

Online Course "Time Series Analysis and Forecasting" - BlueCourses

Ines Wilms, Nalan Basturk, Etienne Wijler and I have developed the online course Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, which teaches the essentials of modern time series analysis with R. It is hosted by BlueCourses, which transfers part of the fee to organizations protecting the oceans.
